On Thursday, Alibaba Group said its profit for the three months that ended in June almost doubled, while its revenue rose more than half. Alibaba makes money from vendors by charging them for advertising on its platforms, among other services. While Alibaba's new technology with Intellectual Property have given it access to new and better data that give it more power to target those vendors. Alibaba on one hand has attached great importance to cracking down on IP infringement and make continuous efforts in innovation on the other hand, which set a good example for E-commerce companies.
