China's General Administration of Customs announced 11 typical cases of intellectual property infringement where they were able to seize infringing goods. The cases included both domestic and foreign brands as well as products bearing Olympic marks. The infringing goods included counterfeit Hugo Boss clothing; counterfeit L'Oreal, DIOR, Maybelline and MAC cosmetics; and counterfeit Disney stickers among others. Since this year, China's General Administration of Customs has carried out in-depth special enforcement actions for the IP custom protection. The announcement of typical cases on IP infringement has demonstrated the remarkable results achieved by China Customs in strengthening IP protection and cracking down on import and export infringements.
